Patricia Fields

Patricia L. Fields, 81, of Gibson City peacefully passed away Wednesday August 9, 2023 at her home in Gibson City. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm Sunday August 13, 2023 at Rosenbaum Funeral Home in Gibson City followed by visitation until 4:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon Monday August 14, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will be in Drummer Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.

Pat was born April 10, 1942 in Gibson City. A daughter of Noble L. and Lyla E. McKee Hutchcraft. She married Robert L. Fields on October 6, 1962 in Gibson City. He passed away on August 8, 2004.

She is survived by two sons Robb (Terry) Fields of Gibson City and Rich (Erin) Fields of Washington, IL. Three grandchildren that made her very proud Sydney Fields of The Villages, Florida; Corey Fields of Bloomington and Shane Fields of Washington, IL. Three siblings also survive Steve (Rita) Hutchcraft of Gibson City, Kathy Vetter of Salisbury, Missouri and Terry (Joyce) Hutchcraft of Gibson City. Also, many nieces and nephews whom she was known as Aunt Patty Cakes will also miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by twin grandsons and a brother.

Pat retired after thirty years of service to Central Soya. She was in charge of most everything in the office at one time or the other. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was a woman of strong faith which gave her strength her whole life. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
