Travis Jon Wilber, 28, of Bloomington passed away at 10:14 am Sunday November 7, 2021 at OSF St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Bloomington. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm Monday November 15, 2021 at Rosenbaum Funeral Home in Gibson City. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday November 16, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Fairchild officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Travis Wilber Trust Fund at Heartland Bank.

Travis was born April 12, 1993 in Fort Knox, Kentucky a son of David L. and Jill L. Young Wilber.

He is survived by his parents David and Jill Wilber of Bloomington, a sister Courtney (James) Christianer of Bloomington and a brother Jared Wilber of Bloomington. Two precious nieces whom he adored Carollynne and Robin. His paternal grandmother Carol Wilber of Forsyth and close family friends Alex and Matt Short of Normal as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Lloyd Dean Wilber and maternal grandparents John Henry Young and Anna Faye Young.

Travis graduated from Normal Community High School in 2014. He enjoyed playing video games and the trumpet. He was happy being outdoors camping and hiking. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
